The Columbus Bears invite you to our 14th annual Bear Camp.

 

This year along with the popular events and special guests, we have added some new and exciting things to do. We are happy to announce we have reserved the entire Red Roof Hotel for Friday and Saturday night! We hope to see you July 31st - August 3rd, 2008!

How do I Pay for Bear Camp?

 

If you have not yet registered for bear camp, use our online registration process. You can register as many bears as you want and pay for them as a group. After you register, simply choose the "Submit Secure Payment With Pay Pal" option. We use Pay Pal because it's quick, easy and you don't need a Pay Pal account. You can simply use your credit card or checking account and, best of all, there is no charge to you!

 

If you registered previously but still need to pay, click here to lookup your invoice and pay via Pay Pal.

 

If you prefer more classic payment methods, send a check or money order payable to Columbus Ursine Brotherhood at the address listed below. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for us to process your payment and please note the registration rate (see above) is based on when your check is post marked, not when you register online.

Prizes for Mr. Ohio Bear Contest

 

• First prize is $500, a Mr. All Ohio Bear patch and a complimentary run pack for Bear Camp 2009
• Second prize is $100 and a complimentary run pack for Bear Camp 2009
• Third prize is a complimentary run pack for Bear Camp 2009

 

Also, the grand prize for the lube wrestling contest is $50

 

Fur, Fun and Fundraising

 

 

An important part of Bear Camp is giving back to our community. Last year we raised $10,000 for Project Open Hand. This organization is dedicated to meeting the nutritional needs of men, women and children living with HIV. They deliver meals to clients with limited transportation, provide nutritional counseling and education and operate a food pantry for area residents.

• Friday, May 23 at -- Bear Camp Heroes Showstoppers at Club Diversity
• Saturday, May 24 at 10pm -- Bear Camp Heroes Bar Night at the Exile.
• Sunday, May 25 at 7pm -- Bear Camp Heroes Broadway Bears at Union Station
• Thursday, June 5 at 7:30pm -- Bear Camp Heroes meeting at Club Diversity.
